Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) Vikings May Have New But Familiar RB Leading the Way in 2023: The running back situation is one to monitor. Even if Dalvin Cook stays it’s still a relatively major need. Cook is getting older and then Ty Chandler + Kene Nwangwu are largely unproven in the NFL. Of course, if the familiar RB stays, then there is way less uncertainty.

2) Rick Spielman Caused a Delay in Vikings DC Search: Spielman’s influence is still all over the team. Something I’ll be watching in the coming weeks is how much Kwesi Adofo-Mensah continues to shape the roster in his own image. There are still lots of players who were brought in by the former regime.

3) Former Vikings Coach Lands with Raiders: Always good to see former Vikings players and coaches getting another opportunity. The NFL can be a ruthless business. Applaud the good news when it arrives.

4) Sean Payton Says “I Suppose” to Vikings: There ended up being quite a bit of overlap between the Broncos and Vikings in the DC search. I’m sure there were moments when Vikings fans were (once again) very frustrated with Payton. Alas, it worked out: Brian Flores is the new sheriff in town.

5) We Now Know What the Vikings Will Pay Justin Jefferson in 2024: To be clear, there is still some uncertainty in this regard, but we’ve got a pretty good hint. If they agree to an extension, the number in 2024 could change from the projected salary.
