Following the conclusion of the 2023 NFL Draft, one of the big questions surrounded which numbers these new players would don on the field. Well, wonder no more. On Monday afternoon, we got the big Vikings reveal of all the jersey numbers for each member of their 2023 Draft and UDFA classes.

Here is the full list of jersey numbers for the six draft picks and a reminder for when they were all drafted:

  • Round 1, Pick 23: WR Jordan Addison, No. 3
  • Round 3, Pick 102: CB Mekhi Blackmon, No. 11
  • Round 4, Pick 134: DB Jay Ward, No. 20
  • Round 5, Pick 141: DT Jaquelin Roy, No. 78
  • Round 5, Pick 164: QB Jaren Hall, No. 16
  • Round 7, Pick 222: RB DeWayne McBride, No. 37

One player from this group retains his number from college. That player is the Vikings first-round pick, wide receiver Jordan Addison, who wore No. 3 during his two years at Pittsburgh as well as his 2022 season with USC.

Every other Vikings draft pick will be changing to different numbers either by choice or because the number is unavailable. For example, DT Jaquelin Roy is switching from No. 99, which he wore during his three years at LSU, because it is currently worn by Pro Bowl edge rusher Danielle Hunter for the Vikings.

And here are the 15 UDFAs:

  • OL Alan Ali, No. 66
  • DT Calvin Avery, No. 69
  • ILB Abraham Beauplan, No. 39
  • OLB Andre Carter II, No. 57
  • OL Jacky Chen, No. 63
  • CB C.J. Coldon, No. 35
  • ILB Wilson Huber, No. 41
  • WR Cephus Johnson III, No. 85
  • WR Malik Knowles, No. 81
  • ILB Ivan Pace, Jr., No. 40
  • K Jack Podlesny, No. 46
  • TE Ben Sims, No. 49
  • WR Thayer Thomas, No. 89
  • CB NaJee Thompson, No. 36
  • CB Jaylin Williams, No. 38

Technically, everyone from this group is changing numbers as well. However, wide receiver Malik Knowles will wear No. 81, which is the number that he wore at Kansas State during the 2018 season before changing to No. 4 prior to the 2019 season. He donned No. 4 through the final four years of his collegiate career.
