Q: Are you concerned that the Vikings winning streak could be cheapened by facing all of these backup QBs?

Questions Answered: A Keenum Appearance, Akayleb Evans, Tonga for Real

A: No. Not one bit. We’d be concerned if the Vikings were losing to backup QBs — like they used to — but beating Andy Dalton, Skylar Thompson + Teddy Bridgewater, and Taylor Heinicke is fine by us.

It seems, too, that Case Keenum may be on tap to start on Sunday, as Josh Allen hasn’t practiced this week. And if the Bills are wise, they’ll be cautious with the MVP frontrunner.

Keep stacking wins — no matter what. That’s our mantra. At some point, blowing out a team led by a QB2 would feel pretty neat.

Q: The Vikings said today that Andrew Booth is fully healthy. He wasn’t before?

A: Booth hasn’t been on injury reports since the bye week, leading the world to believe he was good to go.

But evidently not?

In Week 9, the other rookie CB, Akayleb Evans, made headlines with outstanding performance. Maybe Booth realized it’s his turn?

We’ll take it.

Q: Can we expect T.J. Hockenson to receive close to 9 targets again?

A: Yes, absolutely.

He may not hit nine on the nose, but the Vikings proved in Week 9 that they’re ready to use this man immediately. Utilizing Hockenson in Washington arguably won the game for Minnesota.

If O’Connell so craves, he can plop Hockenson into a Travis Kelce-like role while Kirk Cousins tosses the ball to Justin Jefferson and the new TE all day long. That’s how good Hockenson is.

In fact, as Adam Thielen slows down his marvelous career, adding a target hog like Hockenson is borderline genius.
