Minnesota Vikings fans will need to change their plans for Week 15 when the Vikings play host to the Indianapolis Colts. The game was initially scheduled for 12 PM CST on Sunday, December 18th. However, with the NFL now flexing schedules, the league has changed to date and time to 12 PM CST on Saturday, December 17th.

This has been known to be a possibility for a while now, especially as the college football regular season has wrapped up. And, with there being very low stakes between the 10-2 Vikings and 4-8-1 Colts, moving this to a Saturday that features a few intriguing college football bowl games, this was the most logical game to bury in that Saturday slate.

Among the other flexes, joining the Vikings and Colts on Saturday, December 17th, are two other games:

  • Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns, 3:30 PM CST
  • Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills, 7:15 PM CST

Additionally, the Washington Commanders will host the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. The two teams just played in Week 13, and that game finished in a 20-20 tie, so this will be the grudge match. The Sunday Night Football game was originally scheduled to be the 6-6 New England Patriots playing at the 5-7 Las Vegas Raiders.

Overall, the important thing to remember is that the Vikings play 24 hours earlier than scheduled in Week 15. Show up to U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday rather than Sunday. It will also be the first of two consecutive Saturday games for the Vikings. In Week 16, they will play host to the New York Giants on Christmas Eve.
