The View from VT: Huge Hockenson, Confident Bills, & The Soap Opera

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.
1) How Huge Can Thomas James Hockenson Be for Minnesota?: Hockenson can be excellent for Minnesota. Obviously, we shouldn’t overreact to one game. The games will become more meaningful and defenses will pay more attention to him. Can he continue playing at a high level? I think so, but let’s see how things work out.
2) The Bills are Confident – Even if Josh Allen Can’t Play: Buffalo’s best player is their quarterback. Josh Allen is an elite QB. Nevertheless, it’s that defense that most worries me. Leslie Frazier has done a great job with his side of the ball. It’ll be tough to score points on them.
3) Our Staff Prediction for Vikings at Bills: I’m rolling with the Bills in this one. I’d feel quite a bit more optimistic if the game was being played at U.S. Bank Stadium, but it’ll be in Buffalo. Now, this is a scenario where I’d be thrilled to be wrong. Upsetting Buffalo would push the Minnesota Vikings to 8-1 and silence criticism that they aren’t legit contenders.
4) Upcoming Game is Like a 9-Part Soap Opera: Indeed, there are a lot of connections between the two sides. Harrison Phillips, Stefon Diggs, Leslie Frazier: all will be discussed plenty as the game gets closer.
5) Vikings TE Bolts for Raiders: Jacob Hollister was brought in as a depth option. He didn’t get too much opportunity with the Vikings. Las Vegas isn’t going very far in 2022, but perhaps Hollister can get onto the field to make some plays. Thankfully, Ben Ellefson can come back to play for Minnesota.
