Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) The 3 Main Vikings Pro Bowl Snubs: Overall, it was a solid year for the Minnesota Vikings. A total of 5 players got the nod, and each phase of the game is represented by Minnesota. Andrew Depaola, the team’s long snapper, seemed really excited about making it. Nevertheless, there’s a case to be made that several others should have been included, Christian Darrisaw foremost among them.

2) Out of Nowhere, Colts Waive Former Vikings Starter: I was surprised by this move, as well. The Colts aren’t going anywhere in 2022, and he was just coming off a strong game against Minnesota. Hopefully, the defensive end gets to sign with a playoff team, giving him a chance to pursue a Super Bowl.

3) ESPN Was Not Impressed – At All – With Kirk Cousins vs. Colts: There has been quite a bit of chatter about this topic. Kirk Cousins’ stats – 460 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INTs – are tremendous (especially when we remember that he’s only partially to blame for the INTs). The advanced stats don’t have the same opinion, though. For whatever it’s worth, the QB1 won the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

4) You’ll Never Believe Who the Vikings Signed at QB: I was among those who didn’t see this coming. Nevertheless, adding Josh Rosen makes a lot of sense. He has starter experience and was highly-regarded coming out of college. As a QB3, that’s just fine.

5) 1 Forgotten Man Deserves Credit for NFC North Title: Truth be told, there are probably a lot of people we’ve overlooked. That being said, Janik makes a good point: Rick Spielman has been very important in this team’s current success. Maybe his main gifts to the team are the two young, elite talents leading the Vikings offense.

Enjoy the extra reading, Minnesota Vikings fans. Skol.
