Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) Vikings Became Even More Confusing on Sunday: After 13 weeks, the Minnesota Vikings remain an enigma. For whatever it’s worth, I’ll suggest that the record ought to count for more than advanced stats. The game, as they say, isn’t played on the stat sheet. No one will care if the stats aren’t flattering as long as there are plenty of wins.

2) Former Vikings Starter Released by Broncos: Some disappointing news for Anthony Harris. For a time, he was among the preeminent defensive backs in the NFL. Hopefully, he can find another opportunity to play.

3) Justin Jefferson is No Longer Atop the Pro Bowl Podium: He will likely get the Pro Bowl nod, but it is notable that a recent tabulation had Tua atop the voting. What’s more important is that Jefferson gets recognition as an All Pro. He’s one of the game’s very best players.

4) Don’t Get Tricked about the Lions Defense: If feels like I say this every week, but don’t overlook the opponent. Detroit is a scrappy team. Truthfully, I don’t know if Dan Campbell is the coach to turn them into a Super Bowl contender. It’s possible he is and possible he isn’t. What I can say is that his Lions are better than recent versions of the team.

5) The Best Vikings Player Nobody Talks About: Patrick Jones has had some really nice moments this season. It’s possible that Ed Donatell ought to use him a little more on early downs. Would that allow either Za’Darius Smith and/or Danielle Hunter to have a little more energy in critical passing situations?

Enjoy the extra reading, Minnesota Vikings fans. Skol.
