Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer. Take a look at five of their articles from the early part of the week.

1) Vikings Are Evidently Incredibly Fraudulent – and – Incredibly Special: The Vikings are, admittedly, an enigma dressed in a paradox. How do we make sense of this group? Don’t look at me; I’m as confused as everyone else.

2) How the Vikings Could Play the Packers in the Playoffs: Many within Vikings fandom would be nervous about this matchup even they’d be too proud to admit it. To be sure, losing to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers would be a brutal way to get eliminated. Beating them, in contrast, would lead to rejoicing in all the land (except maybe in Wisconsin).

3) Vikings Audition Interesting New QB: I’m Canadian, so I’ve always played and coached football according to the Canadian rules. Our field is longer and wider, the endzones are bigger, the uprights are at the front of the endzone, there is more pre-snap motion, and the football is larger than its NFL counterpart. We also play with 3 downs instead of 4 and there is a way to score a single point in Canadian football. Anyhow, the Vikings gave a CFL QB a tryout before signing Josh Rosen.

4) 5 Vikings Led Their Position Groups in Pro Bowl Voting: Generally speaking, I don’t care too much about the Pro Bowl. Nevertheless, it’s great to see Kris Boyd get the recognition he deserves. He has been a special teams ace for a little while. He deserves to be recognized. Ditto for Andrew Depaola.

5) 50% of The Vikings’ Games Needed a Secret Ingredient to Win: Kirk Cousins is having his best season in the NFL. I don’t know if that’s a generally accepted opinion or not, but I do know it’s the opinion I hold. 7 game-winning drives after 14 games is remarkable. Clutch Cousins has been a key part of this team’s 11-3 record.

Enjoy the extra reading, Minnesota Vikings fans. Skol.
