Recently, Justin Jefferson sent a message to Vikings fans.

As many people will know by now, the team is going to host the New York Giants today at U.S. Bank Stadium. The team is looking to create a “Winter Whiteout” among the fans; the players will be wearing all white uniforms, as well.

Minnesota has the support of their young WR. Take a look at the recent tweet from Justin Jefferson:

As you can see, Jefferson is looking for Minnesota fans to get on board. Creating an excellent atmosphere inside U.S. Bank Stadium helps give the Vikings a competitive advantage, and the expectation is that the crowd will be ready to support the purple and gold winter white Vikings by buying into the whiteout.

Justin Jefferson and The Wild 2022 Vikings Season

Unless something crazy happens, Jefferson will finish the season as a first-team All Pro. He is currently first in the NFL in catches (111) and yards (1623). His 7 TD catches put him in the top 10 for that category, and his 14.6 yards per reception put him at 14th overall. Jefferson, in short, is probably the best receiver in the NFL in 2022. He is Minnesota’s best player, arguably the most important contributor to the 11-3 record.

When he asks the fans to buy-in, I imagine many will be inclined to gladly accept his request.

Seeing tens of thousands of fans cheering in unison in all-white will be pretty stellar. I imagine it’ll help create an even cooler experience for both the onlooker and team.

The Giants are not to be overlooked. At 8-5-1, they’re one of the better teams in the NFC, but it’d still be fair to say that they fall short of the NFL’s true top-tier. In theory, it should be a day where Ed Donatell’s group can keep the point total to a lower number than we’ve grown accustomed to seeing. The Giants haven’t surpassed 30 points in any game in 2022, so even seeing them climb into the high 20s would be disappointing.

Plus, New York isn’t playing great football right now. True, they’re coming off a notable win, but they’re 1-3-1 over their last 5 games. Perhaps some magic at the end of the season could even spark an unlikely run to the top of the conference.

The Vikings will be hoping that Justin Jefferson and the rest of the team’s offense finds a way to put together a dominant day. Many of us aren’t asking for too much this Christmas, and a lot us would be thankful for a little less stress during football hours.

The game is scheduled to begin at 12 CST. Remember, folks, to put on some white clothing to help create a great atmosphere inside U.S. Bank Stadium. This will be the last home game until the playoffs.
