With kickoff less than one hour away, the Minnesota Vikings have released their list of inactives for Sunday’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. As it turns out, starting DE Jonathan Bullard has been listed among the Vikings inactives for this game.

Bullard appeared on the injury report this week with an illness and went into the weekend as questionable. He has started three of the first six games for Minnesota and recorded eight tackles, including a TFL against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He also recorded a QB hit in Week 6 against the Dolphins. Also listed among the Vikings inactives are OLB Benton Whitley, IOL Chris Reed, OT Vederian Lowe, and DL Esezi Otomewo.

In Bullard’s stead, the Vikings will start Ross Blacklock. The Vikings acquired him via trade from the Houston Texans prior to the seasons start, and he has been a rotational defender throughout the season. He played a season-high 19 defensive snaps against Miami prior to Minnesota’s bye.

As for the Arizona Cardinals, they have a laundry list of players listed as out for this game. Here is the full list of players:

  • RB James Conner
  • LG Max Garcia
  • LB Dennis Gardeck
  • C Rodney Hudson
  • OT DJ Humphries
  • CB Christian Matthew
  • QB Trace McSorley

As you may notice, the entirety of the Cardinals left side of the offensive line is out for this game. This should create opportunities for both Danielle Hunter and Za’Darius Smith to create pressure against Kyler Murray, much like they did against Skylar Thompson and Teddy Bridgewater in Miami.

Additionally, starting RB James Conner is also out. This is the third consecutive game that he misses with a rib injury. In his place, Eno Benjamin looks to be the lead back once again for Arizona after rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown last Thursday against the Saints.

Kickoff is scheduled between the Cardinals and Vikings at 12 PM in U.S. Bank Stadium.
