Adam Thielen Offers a Message to Fantasy Football Players
It’s a touch early, but perhaps you have a fantasy draft that’s coming up. Well, Adam Thielen – Minnesota’s top-tier WR2 – delivered a message to fantasy football participants.
According to the veteran, he’ll be a rock-solid pick in your draft:
Succeeding in fantasy is all about getting good value. Anyone can snag the year’s top player in the opening round. Being able to find someone who produces close to the top-end players in the mid-to-late rounds is far more challenging.
This is where Mr. Adam Thielen factors into the fantasy equation.
In recent years, Thielen hasn’t produced up to his usual standards. A quick look at his Pro Football Reference page suggests that his best statistical production came three years ago, so fantasy footballers ought to avoid snagging the WR too high. As he explains, though, Thielen has “a lot of confidence” in his abilities. If he stays healthy, he may end up offering really good value.
Right now, Adam Thielan is coming in with a 95.8 ADP over on ESPN fantasy. Frankly, it’s astonishing he’s so low. Picking him in the 9th or 10th looks like tremendous value, especially since the veteran is so good at scoring touchdowns.
Thielen feels confident in himself, and I’d feel very confident choosing him in the 9th.
