Relive Justin Jefferson’s Top 10 Moments From The 2021 Season
Somehow, Justin Jefferson was better in his sophomore year than in his rookie year. I was among those who thought that a sophomore slump may have been coming; how wonderfully wrong I was.
The season didn’t go as anyone hoped, leading to a complete change in Minnesota’s leadership. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O’Connell thus inherit a reasonably talented roster, one that has the capacity to do better than in the past couple seasons.
Take a look at some of Jefferson’s best plays:
Moving forward, the Vikings would be wise to reinvent themselves. Rather than center the offense on Dalvin Cook, focus on featuring Justin Jefferson even more prominently. From that starting point, pass-catchers like Irv Smith Jr. and K.J. Osborn will be able to shine even brighter. Heck, Cook can be even more involved as a pass catcher.
The events from this past week of free agency have left some Vikings fans hopeful. Others are more cynical. Regardless of where one stands, we can all agree that Justin Jefferson is already an elite player. That simple fact ought to give us some hope heading into 2022.
