Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Offers Praise for Kirk Cousins

Quick one here, folks. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah spoke to the media while at the combine, and one of the topics that came up was Kirk Cousins.

We’ve long known that Cousins is very consistent and that he does have great accuracy. His durability is also laudable.
Part of what made KAM’s answer so intriguing, though, is that he takes on the factors within a play that make things challenging. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah mentions how Kirk Cousins does well within the circumstances that are provided for him.
That compliment also has a bit of a critique. He doesn’t do a great job of making something out of nothing. However, he does do an excellent job of playing within the plan for the specific game and specific play.
If Cousins sticks around town, the onus is on Kevin O’Connell & Friends to ensure the plays have high-upside options built in.
