The NFL trade deadline is fast approaching with just eight days remaining for teams to swap players and picks. As November 1st gets closer, there are rumors swirling around the NFL regarding which players could get traded. Here are each trade targets for each NFC North team ahead of the deadline.

Chicago Bears: WR Kendrick Bourne

If the Bears ever want to truly see what they have in Justin Fields, they need to provide him with a true wide receiver room. Darnell Mooney is a decent option right now, but another player to line up opposite him would make things much easier.

That’s where Kendrick Bourne comes in. After recording over 600 receiving yards in each of the past two seasons, 2022 has been a very slow year for the 2017 UDFA. Through six games, he’s been targeted just 14 times and caught 11 balls for 154 yards.

Bourne gets a chance to give the Bears an audition on Monday Night Football, and we’ll see if Chicago decides to pull the trigger to bring another weapon in for their young QB.

Detroit Lions: LB Kamu Grugier-Hill

The Detroit Lions linebacker room contains oodles of youth right now, but they don’t have a strong veteran presence to rally the troops. The Houston Texans could provide the answer for this young Lions team as their defense tries to put things together down the stretch of the season.

2021 was the first season where LB Kamu Grugier-Hill earned consistent starting snaps, and he certainly performed well with three sacks and 13 TFLs. There aren’t too many things to be rooting for in Detroit right now, but this move should be one of them.

Green Bay Packers: WR Brandin Cooks

Amidst the trade rumors of DJ Moore and Chase Claypool, this new scenario makes the most sense for the Green Bay Packers right now. It’s become clear that something needs to happen in Green Bay to revamp an offense that is among the bottom-10 in scoring.

Brandin Cooks has quietly been an extremely consistent receiver everywhere he goes, and with the Texans trending towards another finish among the bottom of the league, they may try to move on from the veteran for draft capital.

Over his first eight seasons in the NFL, playing for four teams, he recorded 1000+ receiving yards in six of them. With continue struggles from the Packers rookies, especially after Randall Cobb’s injury, Aaron Rodgers desperately needs another reliable target.

Minnesota Vikings: CB Bryce Hall

The Minnesota Vikings are the most cap-strapped team in the NFL right now, so they’re deadline moves could be limited if they don’t move some money around. That said, a fairly easy trade to make could involve Jets cornerback Bryce Hall.

Hall carries a cap hit of just under $1 million this season, and after a season in which he ranked fifth in the NFL with 16 pass defenses and was second in forced incompletions, he could be a valuable depth piece to Minnesota’s defense.

Hall has been buried on New York’s depth chart after they drafted Sauce Gardner in the first round this spring, but he is a versatile defender that could be useful for Minnesota both now and in the future.
