Purple PTSD, as many of you know, has an official partnership with Vikings Territory. For this reason, we’re going to be doing a little more to bring readers some updates on what’s going on over at VT. “The View from VT” series will likely be a weekly event. The overall purpose is to bring together the top five articles from the past week so that our readers can easily find them.

With that said, here are this week’s top-5 Vikings Territory articles:

  1. Bleacher Report Has a Trade Suggestion for Vikings: Trade chatter is always entertaining. In this piece, Dustin responds to the idea that BR has for Minnesota to improve their defensive line. Personally, I don’t think it’ll happen, but we’ll see if Spielman has any tricks up his sleeve.
  2. If Not Everson Griffen, Vikings Fans Have Firm Prediction for RDE: Griffen is back in town. His role will be limited, so no one should consider him the #1 option at RDE. I’m also within the D.J. Wonnum fan club.
  3. New Players Arrive on Vikings Free Agent Radar: The roster is far from complete. After all the cuts and moves to bring players back to the practice squad, Zim and Spielman will still be looking to add talent. The Vikings have been connected to several players.
  4. Former Vikings think Everson Griffen’s return may come with a position change: The options for changing positions are somewhat limited for Griffen. We won’t see him taking snaps under center or out wide covering, so readers shouldn’t expect anything too wild. Even still, it’s an intriguing idea.
  5. Patrick Peterson Joined the Vikings for One Main Reason: Recently, I published a piece on here detailing why I think Peterson could bounce back. Peterson, quite evidently, believes that working with Zim is the key to extending his career.

Enjoy the Saturday reading, folks.
