These Vikings/NFL helmet design concepts are FIRE

You know it’s officially the NFL off-season when you start to see random articles about even more random Minnesota Vikings/team helmet and uniform redesigns. I won’t lie, I’m a sucker for this sort of thing, as many of my writers and future site editors will attest (as I’ve created about 1,000 different logo concepts for our upcoming super launch of sites like FranchiseTagged.com (a general NFL site), TheDraftTeam.com (a NFL Draft prospect analysis site), InsidetheGoal.com/WolvesTerritory.com/GophersTerritory.com/BladesoSteel.com, etc.).

Those sites will all be live and game changing in the next few weeks, with our first ever centralized sports site and app launching on-or-near April Fool’s Day!

We swear that’s just a coincidence.

Either way, I do love me some logo concept art when it’s done correctly and I came across an article that did it VERY well today while checking Yahoo! News for the 10th-time (like someone prepping for Y2K) today.

You can check the entire list (and the subsequent grades) here:

But I thought that we should look at the NFC North teams and some of the other helmets that stood out to me.

See?

While I’m not a huge fan of the reversed horn look on the Vikings second helmet, I love the ‘SKOL’ and braided middle section from the first option. A lot of the helmets I included clearly are biting the Vikings’ current style, some are really outside of the box and great (I’m looking at you, Arizona Cardinals bird face option!).

What do you think? Which is your favorite?
