Randy Moss said that Justin Jefferson is Rookie of the Year & MUCH more

Randy Moss Ahmad Rashad Inducted into Ring of Honor

Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss, who many have compared current Vikings rookie receiver Justin Jefferson to this season, finally opened up about JJet yesterday on ‘NFL Countdown’ and had some glowing words for the rookie.

We recently made some news ourselves on our new KDLM Radio show by talking to cohost Mike Tice about the comparisons people had made between Moss and Jefferson.

Turns out Moss himself sees Jefferson as a worth addition to the Vikings Mount Rushmore of Wide Receivers. Surprisingly, though, he included Percy Harvin over Cris Carter, someone who many saw as a mentor to Moss (from afar anyway, as one of our Vikings Insiders Bob Sansevere recently explained wasn’t the case).

Harvin was incredibly talented, but was mercurial and plagued by migraines. Carter lead may not have been a first ballot Hall of Famer like Moss, but got there all the same.

Moss could’ve just had a brain fart here, or this could explain why he also left Carter off of his top WRs list while on Terrell Owens’ podcast this week.

What do you think?
