Week 4 Picks

Vikings vs Rams: Rams 34-27

The Vikings defense hasn’t lived up to the hype so far this season, and the offensive line has its toughest matchup of the year. The Rams, even with a banged up secondary, win this game.

Lions vs Cowboys: Lions 27-17

The Cowboys are getting exposed for not having anyone for Dak to throw to, so the Lions should be able to aggressively load the box and shut down Dallas’ run game. Also, Matt Stafford is still very good and he can win games especially against average or bad teams.

Bengals vs Falcons: Falcons 27-24

This game features two teams with decent defenses and elite wide receivers. This game should be very close but I’m taking the Falcons at home because of their quarterback and their run game.

Eagles vs Titans: Eagles 31-17

Carson Wentz is back, and the defense is playing well. The Eagles may struggle against teams like the Rams or the Vikings, but the Titans are a team barely slipping by to win games. The Eagles handle the Titans this week.

Buccaneers vs Bears: Bears 20-17

The Bears might be the best team in the NFC North, and the Buccaneers may be the best team in the NFC South. What is the NFL? The Bears win this game as FitzMagic ends, but hey we will always have memories.

Bills vs Packers: Packers 45-14

The bills are bad. The Packers are angry they tied and then lost. Rodgers slings it against a bad team and the Bills go back to being the worst team in the NFL.

Jets vs Jaguars: Jaguars 24-10

The elite Jacksonville defense goes against the young Sam Darnold and should put on a show. With Fournette back on the field the Jags should control the ball all game, and this one should never be in question.

Dolphins vs Patriots: Patriots 27-17

The Patriots are always better come October and November than they are in September. The Dolphins have beaten the Jets and the Raiders, so they haven’t fully proven themselves to me. I’m taking the Pats at home against a Fins team that may be a lot worse than their record suggest.

Texans vs Colts: Colts 37-35

The Colts have been better than most people though this year, playing the Bengals and Eagles both very close. The Texans have been a colossal letdown this season, and while you could attribute a lot of the struggles to a horrible offensive line, the offense in whole has struggled. I’m taking the Colts because of their defense.

Seahawks vs Cardinals: Seahawks 27-14

The Cardinals are the worst team in the NFL, but maybe Rosen will breathe life into this team. Probably not.

Browns vs Raiders: Browns 28-10

The Browns have a neat situation. All the media attention goes to Baker Mayfield and the offense, but the best part about this team is their ball hawking defense. Baker was the 2nd best draft pick the Browns made this year. Denzel Ward looks great already, so I’m taking the Browns because of their sneaky great defense.

Saints vs Giants: Giants 24-21 *UPSET ALERT*

This game to me is one the Saints may overlook. The Giants have weapons all over the offense and their defense has looked decent. The Saints have the offensive fire power, but they don’t have the defense to stop anyone. So, watch for an upset in New York this week.

49ers vs Chargers: Chargers 34-17

The 49ers lost their season when they lost Jimmy GQ. The Chargers will bounce back from a rough loss to the other LA team, and they will manhandle one of the other California teams.

Ravens vs Steelers: Steelers 31-28

This game should be a great game. The Steelers barely won on Monday. The Ravens are trying to prove this is their division to lose. I’m taking the Steelers in this one because of home field advantage, but this is a coin flip.

Chiefs vs Broncos: Chiefs 48-37

The Chiefs will show once again that their defense can’t stop anything, but their offense can’t be stopped. Case Keenum will fall short to Patrick Mahomes this week, as Mahomes continues to be the Best quarterback in the NFL.
