So far, we know who the Vikings will be playing. We also know that they’ll have a road game in Week 4. This will take place in London against the Saints. We’ve also recently learned that Minnesota will be taking on Philly in Week 2 on Monday Night Football. The game is supposed to take place in Philadelphia.

Otherwise, we’re left with some speculation regarding the Vikings schedule. Before filling you in on some of the pertinent details to remember, let’s begin with the opponents. Take a peak at who Minnesota will play in 2022:

Cowboys Eagles

Cardinals Saints
JetsBills
Patriots Dolphins
Colts

The mystery rests in when Minnesota will be playing these teams.

According to NFL.com, we’ll be learning about “select games” this week. In other words, the NFL will drop some notable games to generate buzz about the rest of the schedule. Perhaps one of these games will feature the Vikings.

At 6 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 12th, teams will announce their first home game. We’ll then learn about the full schedule later that night. At 8 p.m. ET, the NFL will announce the full schedule. Ideally, there won’t be too much waiting around. Fans (and writers) want to know the details sooner rather than later.

At Purple PTSD, we’ll be providing the full Vikings schedule on May 12 shortly after the NFL makes the announcement. We’ll also be providing all kinds of commentary and analysis, so be sure to keep swinging by. Skol.
