Week 8 Picks

Broncos vs Cardinals: Broncos 27-17

The Broncos have played the Chiefs and the Rams and nearly came away with wins in both games. This team is underrated, but Keenum could end up being its downfall.

Titans vs Chargers: Chargers 37-24

The Chargers have also played the Rams and Chiefs and lost, but when they have played other teams they have looked good. The Titans however haven’t looked great all year and while they may keep it close, the Chargers offense has too many weapons for the Titans to hold on.

Patriots vs Bears: Patriots 31-24

The Patriots defense should smother Trubisky and the Bears offense, while the Patriots offense has looked elite with Edelman back in action.

Bills vs Colts: Colts 17-7

This game is going to be ugly. The Bills may start Nate Peterman and he will make the Colts defense look like the Bears defense. Both of these teams are competing for top picks in next years’ draft, so congrats Buffalo!

Browns vs Buccaneers: Browns 28-17

The Browns’ defense is elite when it wants to be, but the issue is inconsistency. If the Browns’ defense shows up to this game, it shouldn’t be close as the Buccaneers have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Vikings vs Jets: Vikings 31-27

This game may end up a lot closer than a lot of people think. The Jets have scored 30+ three times already, so the Vikings’ defense has its work cut out for them. I think this game comes down to Cousins’ decision making, and maybe a big play to Diggs.

Texans vs Jaguars: Jaguars 17-14

This game will be close and as long as Blake Bortles doesn’t give the ball to the Texans like he has in recent weeks, the Jags should get the win.

Lions vs Dolphins: Dolphins 34-27 *UPSET ALERT*

The Dolphins have a quarterback problem. But, it is Brock-tober, so maybe the Dolphins pull out another win at home to remain in the race for the AFC East.

Panthers vs Eagles: Panthers 28-24 *UPEST ALERT 2.0*

The Panthers defense has been up and down this year, and the Eagles have had one good offensive game. I like the Panthers to knock off the Eagles this week in a close game in Philly.

Saints vs Ravens: Ravens 24-21

This game is a classic “unstoppable force vs immoveable object” game. Defense vs offense. If I know anything about football, it is that defense wins championships, and defense prevails again Sunday.

Rams vs 49ers: Rams 38-7

The Rams are the best team in football. The 49ers are the most injured. Easy pick.

Cowboys vs Redskins: Cowboys 27-17

The Cowboys have been one of the more reliable defensive teams in the NFL this year. The Redskins have been up and down all season, and I don’t think the Skins get it done Sunday.

Bengals vs Chiefs: Chiefs 47-38

The Chiefs are going to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss in New England, and the Bengals just won’t be able to keep up with that offense.

Giants vs Falcons: Falcons 27-14

The Giants can’t move the ball. The Falcons can’t stop anyone from moving the ball. Why is this the Monday night game?
