Watch Dalvin Cook Break a Guy’s Ankles in Practice [Props to @JReidDraftScout]

Now, I’ll be the first to admit (And I said this on our most recent Podcast) that I didn’t know a whole lot about Dalvin Cook before the Vikings traded up to take the former Florida State standout. I was very heavily invested in the idea that the Vikings would take Oklahoma star Joe Mixon at 48 and considering Cook was a first round talent, I just didn’t think it was possible for the Vikings to snag him without a first round pick. The story goes that Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur’s “Jaw dropped” when he was told that the team was going to be able to draft him and that’s really all the verification I needed that this was the right move, even with my preference (sort of) for Mixon.

Holy, macaroni.

This shows a couple things, despite it’s length. It shows that Cook is the playmaker the Vikings need on their roster. That he has amazing vision and juking ability and that he can return kicks, if needed. That sounds like quite the trifecta! So, I’m officially excited about Cook. What do you think?
