The Minnesota Vikings have used their 3rd pick in the draft to upgrade the interior of the offensive line.

With the 59th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings have selected Ed Ingram, the guard out of LSU.

Ed Ingram is a guard who will come in and compete for a starting job right away. The 6’3 307 pound guard can both pass protect and run block. According to PFF, Ingram had a 82.6 pass blocking grade in 2021.

Ed Ingram will come to compete with current Vikings Jesse Davis, Chris Reed, and Wyatt Davis to start on the right side of the line.

With this pick, the Vikings have again upgraded their roster. They needed interior offensive line help, and now they’ve got it.
