Power Rankings Week 8

Sorry for the mishap last week everyone. I though we were one week deeper into this season.

  1. L.A. Rams: They blew out a team they should have, so they remain on top.
  2. New England Patriots: The Patriots offense was supposed to be their weakness, but they have been hanging 38 points every week for a month now.
  3. Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs had to play in New England, but they are still legit contenders.
  4. Minnesota Vikings: The offense puts up 37 and the defense holds the Jets to 17, so good win.
  5. New Orleans Saints: It wasn’t pretty, but the Saints won again, and the defense is shaping up.
  6. Carolina Panthers: HUGE comeback win against a good Eagles team, and the Panthers prove they are a serious contender.
  7. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles just seem off this season, and if they don’t fix whatever is wrong, they might lose this division.
  8. Chicago Bears: The Bears defense hasn’t looked so elite in recent weeks, and this week it cost them the division lead.
  9. L.A. Chargers: The Titans play everyone close, and this game was in England, and the Chargers still won so they get to be in the top 10.
  10. Pittsburgh Steelers: All the Steelers had to do was sit at home and let the AFC North implode, and now they are winning the division.
  11. Houston Texans: Watson has knocked off the rust, and the defense looks great, and they may win their division.
  12. Baltimore Ravens: It took their kicker missing his first PAT in over 200 career PATs to lose this one, but a loss is a loss.
  13. Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have won one primetime game under Lewis, and they extended him last season, which is something a bad team does.
  14. Washington Redskins: I still think the Eagles are a better team, but the Skins have a division lead now so that’s exciting!
  15. Green Bay Packers: The Packers had a bye, but remember how it took a dramatic last-minute drive to beat the atrocious 49ers? I do.
  16. Denver Broncos: Even in that blowout Keenum looked average and threw a pick, again.
  17. Dallas Cowboys: Dan Bailey would’ve made that kick. Just saying.
  18. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey needs to issue an official apology to all quarterbacks he talked poorly of this offseason without mentioning Bortles in that group. TRASH!
  19. Detroit Lions: The Lions started slow enough to make everyone forget about them, but they are only one win out of first place and they have a lot of division games left.
  20. Atlanta Falcons: I just do not buy this team as a contender, they are just too banged up.
  21. Tennessee Titans: The Titans may have won that game in London if they just kicked the extra point, but instead they lose and remain a mediocre team.
  22. Seattle Seahawks: Bye week, nothing else to say.
  23. Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins are a 9-win team, and the question is will that sneak them into the playoffs.
  24. New York Jets: I still don’t buy Sam Darnold as an elite future quarterback, I think he will be average and needs a great team around him to be great. So he is Kirk Cousins.
  25. San Francisco 49ers: Don’t be upset about a blow out loss when you are a team of back-ups playing against a Pro Bowl roster.
  26. Indianapolis Colts: They blew out the Bills so I guess that’s good.
  27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Buccaneers beat the Brown’s, but they still blew a two-possession lead, so I am not impressed.
  28. Cleveland Browns: Hue Jackson can’t coach a great roster into winning, and he may be gone this week.
  29. Oakland Raiders: Mediocrity at its finest, and I am aware they were on a bye I just wanted to say it.
  30. Buffalo Bills: The Bills are so bad it is comedic.
  31. Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals are so bad it is sad, because I like Fitzgerald.
  32. New York Giants: That kid from Oregon looks like he may be a good quarterback to take at #1.
