Mike Gelfand explains why some betting lines change abruptly in a matter of days.
The Vikings are a great example of that. Earlier in the week, the Vikings were 1.5 point underdogs to the Carolina Panthers. Now they are favored by 2.5 points.
The health of Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey appears to play a big role in that. His coach said Wednesday his chances of playing were 50-50, but the odds changed when he didn’t practice on Thursday.
Anyway, Gelfand first began doing football picks more than a quarter of a century ago for the KQ Morning Show, and has continued entertaining listeners with his picks on The BS Show and now Vikings Territory.
