UDFA Holton Hill has starting potential?

The Minnesota Vikings added even more corner depth after the draft was over this April, adding Holton Hill after the draft as an undrafted free agent. The Vikings wanted Hill badly, as shown by $75,000 in guaranteed money on his contract. Hill was a mid round talent, who the Vikings reportedly saw as a top corner this draft. The issue with Hill? He had a serious problem with smoking weed. He attended a rehab of sorts this fall and claims to have been drug free ever since. Hill is 6’2 and ran a 4.4 forty, and again the team believes he was a top corner prospect this year. Holton Hill could be another superstar the Vikings stole without even calling his name at the draft. In 9 games last season, Hill had 2 picks, both taken back for a pick-6, 6 passes defended, 51 tackles, and he forced a fumble. This UDFA could be gunning for a spot across the field from Xavier Rhodes next season, if he can, in the words of Stephen A. Smith, “Stay off the Weed.”
