Despite the lack of (as of the posting of this thread), you know, cap space, this upcoming free agency period may be the most important in recent Vikings history.
So, let’s talk about it!
Who are we cutting and who might we want to sign? etc.?
We were talking about this internally as a team, so I thought I’d post this here so some of our new writers can hop in and introduce themselves!

The Minnesota Viking Offseason Be Fore Championship Season Move.
Who should stay, who should get traded or let go of.
The team has very little cap space to work with and a aging roster.
That means it may be time to cut current or former fan favorites.
Rhodes who has been a steady fixture. Appears to have past his prime. Perhaps he can find his step again at safety or with another team.
Riley Reiff was a solid in some games. But it is time to find his replacement.
Linval Joseph there are some who believe it is time to move on from the DT. He does not have the same explosive burst he once had.
Eflein I’m unsure weather we cut him or move him to back up.
Some have questioned the play of Josh Kline.
Either way there are two positions that require picks in the first two and I would say four round.
Offensive line, and cornerback have to be top priority.
I think we willResign Anthony Harris, McKenzie Alexander, you could consider Wayne’s. But I’m more leaning to ward letting him walk and having Alexander, Hughes, Hill and a high pick rookie Corner Back take the helm.
This then turns our attention to other positions of need. Offensive line needs help. Reiff replacement, Eflien, plus depth.
Wide Receiver who is our number three?
I think we need to draft a younger wr who has star potential.
I’m not sure how many more star seasons Theilen has.
Safety if we are unable to resign Harris or if we can draft Antoine Winfield Jr.
Defensive line perhaps replacing Linval Joseph.
Also Defensive end, Griffin is not getting younger.
My favorite draft prospects are all relatives of current or former Vikings. Thaddeus Moss, Antoine Winfield Jr. and Travon Diggs. I’ll dig into that more later.
Free agency is not something I’ve dug into a lot yet.
But I have one target.
He is a nasty big boy blocker which is exactly what The Vikings need on their offensive line.

They’ve got their work cut out for them. As of now, my biggest targets to re-sign are Harris, Alexander, Bailey, and Colquitt. I think it’s time to move on from Xavier, and, if they don’t take very team friendly restructures of some type, Griff and Linval. I’m not sure if Linval is up for one, but I’ll throw him out anyway.
