You read that correctly!
The past two seasons, purplePTSD.com has sponsored a viewing party for the Vikings opener. Those parties, dubbed the Purple Party (by a friend of the site, Nick Wimperis, who is a GREAT Realtor), were amazing and we projected the game onto an inflatable screen that was about 20 or so feet. This season, with so much on the line (including our collective sanity), we figured it was time to go big or go home with the viewing party. So, we reached out to the amazing people at the Parkway Theater on Chicago Avenue in South Minneapolis (near the Minnehaha Parkway, hence the name) and set up a party at the theater from 5 to 10:30 or 11 pm (whenever the game ends)!
The viewing party will be fully catered and will also have a full bar courtesy of the neighboring Pepito’s restaurant. So if you like Tacos, booze and everything Vikings you should stop by! We will be doing give aways, showing some pre-game videos and also doing a Q and A with the audience! It’s FREE to attend, but you have to pay for food and booze!
