Linval Joseph says toe is "200%"

Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph got a rude welcome party to Minneapolis soon into his tenure as a Viking, when he was shot in the leg by a richotting bullet at a downtown Minneapolis club in the 2014 off-season. While the injury didn’t keep him out of action for long, he definitely struggled early that year to produce at the level the Vikes expected when investing in the big man because of it.

Towards the end of 2014 as his leg healed he seemed to improve. That improvement led into 2015, where he was arguably our 1b or 1c in regards to status on the defense. Until he acquired turf toe and missed multiple games to end the season. Turf toe can be one of the most nagging and painful injuries, as it heals slowly and is awful.

The good news is that according to Joseph himself, his toe is not only healed but also able to defy the laws of mathematics (he said that it is “200%”).

That bodes well for 2016.
