This is a discussion post. I want to know what you guys think! Who is better, who has a better legacy, who will be in the Ring of Honor first? I think it’s Thielen, just because of the reliability. He always seems to make the catch, block, or just stay healthy. I know Diggs made THAT catch, but Thielen made some great catches last year too. Let me know what you guys think!

Thielen will end up going down as the better receiver for a few reasons. They’re both phenomenal but Diggs misses around 2-3 games a year thanks to injury and also doesn’t seem to handle double coverage as well as Thielen does. Also, Thielen has the most insane catch radius of perhaps any receiver in team history and considering that this team had two of the top three wide receivers of all-time on its roster (at the same time), that says a lot.
Makes me wonder whether or not Treadwell could succeed elsewhere. I really don’t think so and I’ve made that clear in a lot of my articles but considering all the balls that have gone the way of these two it’s also hard not to sympathize with the guy a bit (although he hasn’t made anything of the looks he has gotten, which is on him). I am excited to see what Kendall Wright can do at the three spot this year, that could be dangerous.
Great topic, dude! I’m a HUGE WR geek and so anytime there’s a chance to chat about them, I’m all for it! This team just falls ass-backwards into once in a decade/generation/lifetime talent at the position and we’re really lucky that they did as if Thielen hadn’t materialized into this top 5 receiver in the league we’d be pretty screwed (again, thanks to Treadwell… Not really breaking news, but still).

Thielen would be my pick ~ Injuries have keep Diggs off the field in every season going back to his freshman year of college ~ And he has had more than a couple of games each year where he wasn’t 100% and it showed on the stats when he would have something like 2 catches in a game ~ When Healthy Diggs if a really good WR ~ And he fits in the Vikings offense very well~ Do I believe he should be paid like a top 10 WR next year ~ He!! no ~ If he takes a contract like Thielen has then yes resign him and do it soon ~ And I say that knowing there is a very good chance that might miss two more games in 2018 ~
I’m one of those oddballs that believe people should keep an eye on K. Wright ~ If Diggs once again has problems with his hamstrings and the ask for the farm on his next contract he might be out the door ~ Wright has shown he can make plays with more than a couple of QB’s throwing to him ~ He had a 1000+ yard season when he had something like 3 or 4 QB’s throwing to him ~ He had close to 700 yards with the Bears sucking wind QB’s throwing to him ~
I’m just saying I don’t believe anyone should sleep on K. Wright ~
