We’ll need all the help we can get to take down the Seahawks. For some reason, they always play us tough.

Unfortunately, our Vikings are dealing with a few injury concerns as we prepare for what feels like a must-win game. According to the Vikings.com article, Minnesota has seven players on their injury report. Dalvin Cook did not participate in practice. Anthony Barr, Christian Darrisaw, Everson Griffen, Patrick Peterson, Eric Kendricks, and Bashaud Breeland were all limited.

Obviously, it would be amazing to get Christian Darrisaw onto the field, but the expectation ought to be that the team will wait until he’s fully healthy before playing him. There also seems to be some optimism that Dalvin Cook will play:

My expectation is that both Peterson and Kendricks will be available. Nothing I’ve seen suggests they’re in danger of missing any time. Barr and Breeland, on the other hand, could reasonably miss this weekend’s game. Personally, I’m hoping Cameron Dantzler gets a shot to start in Week 3.

As the week progresses, we’ll get a clearer picture of who will be in or out. Don’t expect too much from Darrisaw, Barr, or Breeland. From there, though, we ought to be at full health. Re-adding Griffen will hopefully ignite the pass rush opposite Hunter.
