Well, this one is shocking. The Minnesota Vikings have dropped to 32nd in the draft, swapping picks with the Detroit Lions.

Moving down 20 picks meant Minnesota has picked up some really massive draft capital. They got the 32nd, 34th, and 66th picks. The Vikings also had to include the 46th selection.

This is a bold, bold move from Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. In fairness, none of us really knew how he was going to proceed since he has never been a GM for a draft. All we had, then, was speculation. While many of us could have foreseen a trade into the teens or even somewhere in the twenties, dropping all the way to 32nd is a real curve ball.

Stay tuned, folks. We’ll keep you updated on how the draft proceeds.
