Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: January 25th, 2025

1) Fan-Favorite Vikings WR Leaves for Cardinals: Hard to blame him for moving on. For a little while, Trishton Jackson has been trying to break through with the Vikings but it simply hasn’t happened. He has almost always been on the practice squad rather than the active roster. He can make some plays.

2) Vikings Re-Sign Familiar Quarterback for 2025: Good move. Stabilize the floor in the QB room with a veteran who understands the system well. The rest of the offseason will be about ratcheting up the upside that exists within that quarterback room while further beefing up the depth.

3) ESPN Officially Predicts Sam Darnold’s New Team: The best guess at this stage likely is that Mr. Darnold will be playing elsewhere in 2025. He mostly played well last season, has great size & athleticism, and is still in his 20s. Gotta think there’s a team out there willing to hand over a decent bit of cash.

4) The Brian Flores Sweepstakes Takes a U-Turn: Certainly looks like the excellent defensive coordinator is going to remain in that role. If so, then how high can the Vikings’ defense soar with Coach Flores continuing to build up this group?

5) The Bills Got a Little Screwed by the Vikings: One has to wonder if Vikings fans have morphed into Bills fans, at least for what remains of the playoffs. If Buffalo can pull off a Super Bowl win, then does it make it more plausible that one day Minnesota could do likewise?
