Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: June 7th, 2025

1) Vikings Seal the Deal with Final Offseason Mega Move: Long overdue. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah isn’t the perfect GM. Get him to sit down with you over a cup of Caribou Coffee and he would admit as much. Nevertheless, he has been a strong GM, one who has equipped his coaches with a roster capable of making noise.

2) Vikings Welcome Back Key Defender with Open Arms: Glad to see the young corner welcomed back. If all goes to plan, Mekhi Blackmon will jump into action without missing a step. Even better would be if he has gained a step. The corner is similar to J.J. McCarthy insofar as his 2024 was dominated by getting healthy and putting in mental work. Does that translate to strong play in 2025?

3) Vikings Could Have a Controversy Brewing: Nothing to see here, folks. Yes, Josh Metellus is wildly underpaid, but he’s back at work. The safety is going to get a new deal and there isn’t too much reason for concern.

4) Unsigned Vikings Starter Meets with Saints: Pulling for the veteran. He’s a good defensive lineman, someone who would do well as a team’s DT4 or DT5. He’s rugged against the run and works hard. Definitely deserves a spot on an NFL team and can be a difference maker from within a particular role.

5) It’s Already Begun for Sam Darnold: Truth be told, folks, anything seems possible for Mr. Darnold. He’s a very, very talented passer who sometimes gets undermined by poor decision making (indecision?). Seeing him struggle outside of the structure in Minnesota wouldn’t hit as a major surprise, but I wish him well.
