Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: January 18th, 2025
1) ESPN Predicts Brian Flores to Accept HC Gig: Certainly possible. The defensive coordinator is an excellent coach and leader. His players in Minnesota love him. Seeing him get snagged by another team won’t be at all surprising.

2) Kevin O’Connell Hints at the Fix to Vikings Roster: Getting some better play up front is a necessity. Yes, a healthy Christian Darrisaw will help, but there also needs to be more assistance. Some better options for the iOL could be necessary.
3) Vikings QB Options: The 4 Possibilities in 2025: Rally around J.J. McCarthy. From there, look to retain Daniel Jones. The former Giant has great size and athleticism to stand alongside being a high draft pick and plenty of starting experience. That twosome could be successful in 2025.

4) These Are All the Vikings Draft Picks for 2025: No doubt, things are a bit skimpy. The good news is merely that getting Mr. McCarthy last year didn’t require trading away the 2025 1st. Plus, there should be a bit of help coming from the compensatory wizards.
5) Vikings Re-Sign Familiar QB: Fortifying the depth at quarterback makes sense, especially with someone who has a good understanding of the system. Put smart players around McCarthy to help him develop. Even better will be if there’s a QB2 who can challenge for a starting spot, pushing the No. 10 pick to elevate his game.
