The Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Draft Pick Pushing for a 2025 All Pro Spot

So far, the Kwesi Adofo-Mensah draft picks have been poor. So poor, in fact, that none have ever made it to the Pro Bowl, let alone the All Pro team.
Kicker Will Reichard could change that reality.
Last season, Mr. Reichard began his NFL career with a sizzling start to the season. A midseason injury dampened the enthusiasm, largely due to some inconsistency before and after spending time on the IR. Fast forward into 2025 and Reichard is an elite specialist, someone offering a level of play that’s at the top of his position.
The Kwesi Adofo-Mensah Pick Who is Shining
Let’s assume that a TV wire really did hinder the football on that fateful overseas kick. If so, then Reichard is down to just a single miss for the year.
Just typing those words will make some Minnesotans antsy. Like a pitcher working through a perfect game, no one wants to speak of the excellence unfolding lest one erect a pressurized hurdle that the individual player seems blissfully unaware of. So, hurry up and shut up so that the kid can continue being tremendous.

The basic reality, though, is that Reichard has been elite.
The kicker is sitting at 19/21 on field goals. That’s a fantastic 90.5%. And then there’s the 19/19 on extra points. Even those without the math skills of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah — a numbers nerd — could figure out that the specialist has a 100% rate within that facet of his job.
Not too bad, right?
Consider, as well, that Will Reichard has seen his lone pair of misses come from 50+ (one of which being the infamous cable kick). Furthermore, he has drilled a 62-yarder, an elite distance even at a time when field goal kickers are doing some work from long distance.
Per PFF, Reichard is the NFL’s 3rd-best kicker for field goals, earning a 91.9 grade.

The field goal percentage sees Will Reichard coming in tied for 6th in the NFL. And, of course, sitting at a perfect conversion rate on extra points means coming in at a tie for 1st place. Reichard is one among ten kickers to be perfect in this facet of the job.
Do note, too, that Coach Matt Daniels has been outgoing about the kickoff coverage doing a really nice job. Yes, the end of the Bears game wasn’t close to good enough, but that’s a component of special teams that has been mostly good.
Credit to the kicker for doing his part.
Will Reichard, 24, will seek to push his Vikings up to a 5-6 record following the Packers game in Week 12. Drilling a clutch kick — while also being someone who is ultra consistent — will make a difference.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, November 23rd.
