Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: July 6th, 2024

1) Former Viking Could Rejoin Team Soon: At the top of the running back room are a pair of players who inspire optimism: Aaron Jones and Ty Chandler. The RB3 spot, though, leaves some reason for concern. Re-adding Cam Akers does makes some sense, so we’ll see what happens.

2) 3 Ways Adam Thielen Can Return to the Vikings: He is still a legend in Minnesota. Truth be told, Thielen’s numbers in Carolina were a bit inflated by the way Carolina’s offense was functioning. One wonders how much explosion is still left in the veteran, but he could do well in the right role (WR3/4).

3) 2 Vikings Make the Cut as Top Players in NFL History: One could argue that Fran Tarkenton deserves a spot on the list. But, to be sure, there can be little debate about the inclusions. Defensive tackle Alan Page and wide receiver Randy Moss fully earned the honor. Page, though, should be higher on the list.

4) Vikings’ Rookie Dubbed “Pest”: In this context, being a pest is a good thing. Listen to the Vikings’ GM talk about the young corner and see what kind of impression you’re left with. The sense one gets is that he’ll be gritty, scrappy, and competitive.

5) Vikings Urged – Again – to Sign Former Pro Bowler: The outside world is concerned about what Minnesota is going to do at WR3. In Eagan, however, there isn’t much sense of panic. The tight end room is deep and Aaron Jones is going to catch passes. Oh, and the top twosome — Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Addison — happen to be pretty good.
