Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: February 17th, 2024

1) Vikings Favored to Land Rising QB Prospect: Buckle up, folks: the QB rumors and speculation are going to be arriving at breakneck speed in the coming weeks and months. J.J. McCarthy offers quite a bit to like, including his history as a national champion, his young age, and his excellent athleticism. Does he go to Minnesota at 11th?

2) There’s a New Wrinkle to T.J. Hockenson’s Situation: Hockenson’s ability to come back in short order will go a long way in helping the Vikings to bounce back. Don’t forget that a major reason why Minnesota missed out on the playoffs in 2023 was as a result of their 0-3 record that eventually shifted into a 1-4 record. Starting quick in 2024 is a must.

3) Jordan Addison Says One Man Would be “Scary” as Vikings QB: How does Caleb Williams as the Vikings’ QB of both the present and the future sound? Too good to be true, right? Truth be told, it likely is. The Bears control the Williams Sweepstakes, so there’s next to no chance Minnesota snatches the talented USC passer.

4) ESPN Says this is the Guy to Watch for in Vikings Trade: No question. A lot can and will change between now and the 2024 NFL Draft, but Jayden Daniels makes so much sense. The simple fact that he’s coming out of LSU is notable but then there’s the reality that he’s a Heisman winner who isn’t expected to go 1st or even 2nd overall, meaning Minnesota could more realistically trade up to officially bring him aboard.

5) What If Vikings Just Give Brian Flores Everything?: Last season, Flores took a defense with pretty average talent overall and turned them into an above-average crew. Make no mistake: the work that Mr. Flores did was wildly impressive. After all, the offense turned the ball over with great regularity and barely feigned an interest in running the football. What could the blitzing wizard do with a fully rebuilt defense?
