Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: August 31st, 2024

1) Vikings Should Pounce on Freshly Released QB: No signs yet of Minnesota looking to pounce on signing Mike White. The QB position in Minnesota still has some good depth with Sam Darnold sitting atop the pile. Behind the QB1 are Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall Brett Rypien, a pair of passers who have varying degrees of upside.

2) Beloved Former Vikings QB Out for the Season: Tough news. Case Keenum is still a cherished figure in Minnesota because of what he accomplished in 2017. Of course, the climactic moment came against the Saints in the playoffs when he tossed the pass that would be the Minneapolis Miracle. In an ideal world, Mr. Keenum gets healthy and back to playing before too long.

3) Vikings Cut Ties with Fastest Player on Team: Speed has never been the problem for Kene Nwangwu. The man has wheels. Rather, there is an inability to be a contributor on offense alongside some changing rules surrounding kickoff in the NFL. So, he’s looking for his next employer.

4) 3 Vikings Players Who Indisputably Won the Offseason: A lot of Vikings had strong offseasons, so shrinking things down to just a trio is a tall task. The Jalen Nailor inclusion, though, does make a lot of sense. He looks like the clear leader to be the WR3, a task that will be his if he can keep making plays and chip in a bit as a blocker.

5) Former Viking Wins the Big Job in Green Bay: For a time, at least, Greg Joseph was the K1 in Wisconsin. The current outlook isn’t as rosy for Mr. Joseph. The latest reports are indicating that Green Bay has opted to move in a different direction at kicker. Where will Joseph end up?
