Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: June 8th, 2024

1) Vikings Have Parted Ways with 2 Undrafted Rookies: Being an undrafted rookie isn’t easy. The offseason slows down in June but there are still moves that lead to shuffling. Hopefully, the cut players will get a shot to pickup work elsewhere in the NFL.

2) There’s an Update on Tampering + Kirk Cousins: At some point, there’s going to need to be a resolution. The Kirk Cousins in Atlanta situation hasn’t gotten off to the smoothest start, but the real test will come in September once games get started. Winning will cure all.

3) There’s a New Chapter in the Justin Jefferson Contract Tale: Minnesotans far and wide are relieved to see the deal get across the finish line. The Vikings’ best player is now under contract for the next five years, so the plan will be for Minnesota to become true contenders within that window.

4) Promising Vikings WR Continues to be Absent: In June, it’s not time to get overly concerned about absences. Nevertheless, it’s at least somewhat notable when someone misses some time. More important will be full participation and competition once training camp arrives in July.

5) Are Vikings Headed Toward WR Showdown?: The Vikings have a long, rich history of elite play at receiver. That tradition is continuing in the present moment due to the presence of Justin Jefferson (though Jordan Addison may continue showing he’s very good, as well). The broader WR competition is one of the main things to watch in the offseason.
