Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) Ex-Vikings Defender Signed a Humongous Deal in Free Agency: Good to see the monstrous DT get a nice payday. He should thrive playing alongside Myles Garrett. Kevin Stefanski was wise to bring Tomlinson aboard.

2) The Texans Trade is Good News for the Vikings: Brandin Cooks was being rumored to Minnesota for a little while. The team may have been interested, but that’s a moot point at this stage. The current rumblings suggest Jerry Jeudy is the next trade target.

3) Another Packer Defects to Vikings: Switching to a 3-4 makes it easier for a former Cheesehead to get horns on his helmet. Dean Lowry, like Za’Darius Smith before him, is hopping over largely because he’s a scheme fit. Ideally, Lowry can get some push from the 3T/5T spot in the Flores defense.

4) Vikings Run it Back with Another Starter: For the most part, the Vikings have made a concerted effort to keep their DL and OL together. At this stage, it’s probably fair to say that the offensive line is the stronger of the 2 groups, an odd reality for a Vikings team that has struggled to find OL consistency for a long time.

5) The 4 Big Vikings Rumblings at the Moment: At this point in the offseason, there is always a lot of rumor and speculation. And, to be sure, NFL GMs do make a lot of phone calls to explore potential deals. In the end, though, the most eye-popping rumors often don’t materialize. We’ll see if any of the current ones are different.
