For the first time in the league’s history, the NFL has decided to give players a say in who should be selected as All-Pro. And, of course, Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been voted to the first Players’ All-Pro team. He was joined by Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders as the two wide receivers.

Jefferson’s selection comes as no surprise. The third-year receiver played some of the best football of his young and already illustrious career during 2022. He now has the records for most receptions and receiving yards by a player through their first three seasons. He broke the Vikings franchise record for receiving yards both in a single game and a single season. And, perhaps most impressively, he became the youngest player in NFL history to lead the league in both receptions (128) and receiving yards (1809).

This selection to the Players’ All-Pro team likely ends up being just the first of Jefferson’s All-Pro selections this week. The AP All-Pro team, the official one that everyone bases things off of, is going to be released on Friday. It would be a shock if Jefferson isn’t selected to his first AP All-Pro team based on his production this year. In each of the past two years, he was voted to the second team.

Jefferson is certainly deserving of the honor, but he was the only Vikings player selected to the team. Christian Darrisaw didn’t make it as the two offensive tackles were Trent Williams of the San Francisco 49ers and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s the full group on the offensive side of the ball:
