Q: Is it possible that Anthony Barr will sign with the Jets? Or is that rumor for now?

A: Both of your questions can be answered with a yes.
It is a semi-reasonable possibility for Barr to land with the Jets because a) He almost wound up there in 2019 b) The Jets need linebackers for their depth chart.
This topic started because CBS Sports hypothesized Barr to New York in an article last week. It was the same piece where Akiem Hicks was linked to the Vikings — again.
On the whole, Barr to the Jets makes sense.
Q: In your estimation, who is the best overall football player in the 2022 NFL Draft?

A: There are a bunch; at this time of year, 1st-Round prospects are next to infallible.
We choose Kyle Hamilton, a safety from Notre Dame. His game is so NFL translation-worthy that it seems impossible he flops in the pros.
A tiny chance exists that he slips down to the Vikings at #12. But don’t hold your breath.
Minnesota has a magnificent recent history with safeties from Notre Dame.
Q: I know in the past the Vikings have drafted Gophers players in the draft. If they choose one this time, who do you think it would be?

A: The Vikings haven’t drafted a Gopher since 2010, for starters. That was linebacker Nate Triplett.
But, hey, it’s probably time, right?
Kwesi Adofo-Mensah could find a way to land Boye Mafe in the 2nd Round. So, if they draft a University of Minnesota dude, we predict him.
Otherwise, he could pluck Esezi Otomewo in later rounds. He ain’t bad either.
Connor Olson, an offensive guard, is doable for later rounds, too.
