Atlanta Falcons @ Washington Commanders

  • Spread: Commanders -4
  • Falcons ML: +165
  • Commanders ML: -190
  • O/U: 40.5 points

Frey’s Pick: Commanders -4

The Falcons have been a sneaky tough team all year, but the Commanders have found ways to win games that they likely wouldn’t have without Taylor Heinicke at QB. Additionally, Atlanta’s inability to stop the run may prove to be their downfall this weekend as Washington remains one of the more run-heavy offenses in the entire NFL.

Atlanta has allowed 160+ rushing yards in three of their last four games. If the Commanders can control the clock like they typically do in games that they win, they should be able to come out on top in this one.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans

  • Spread: Bengals -3
  • Bengals ML: -147
  • Titans ML: +127
  • O/U: 43.5 points

Frey’s Pick: Titans +3

After a very quiet first couple weeks to the season, including a 25-yard rushing effort in Tennessee’s 41-7 loss to the Bills, Derrick Henry has come alive over the past two months. In the Titans last eight games, Henry has recorded 100+ yards from scrimmage in seven of them.

Tennessee is also looking to avenge their playoff loss to the Bengals from last season, giving them some extra motivation to get up for this game. The Titans may find a way to win this game, but regardless, they’ll keep it close.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (1) throws the ball away under pressure against the Minnesota Vikings during the first quarter in Glendale, Ariz. Sept. 19, 2021. Cardinals Vs Vikings
  • Spread: Chargers -3
  • Chargers ML: -170
  • Cardinals ML: +150
  • O/U: 48 points

Frey’s Pick: O48 points

Kyler Murray seems set to return to the field this weekend, making this a matchup of two highly skilled QBs. Both the Cardinals and Chargers are looking to reverse the trends of their recent struggles as each team has lost three of its last four games.

Because of that, one thing should be certain in this game: points will be scored. The defenses have been a main issue for the two teams in this downward spiral, and each offense should find ways to get into the end zone on multiple occasions.

Green Bay Packers @ Philadelphia Eagles

  • Spread: Eagles -6.5
  • Packers ML: +245
  • Eagles ML: -290
  • O/U: 46.5 points

Frey’s Pick: Eagles -6.5

The Eagles have had back-to-back disappointing weeks. Despite only having one loss, a one-point victory over the Indianapolis Colts, during which they had to make a fourth quarter comeback, should not be something that Philly is happy with.

The Packers have had awhile to think about their Thursday Night loss to the Tennessee Titans as well, but there simply isn’t much they can do to fix the problems at this point. Green Bay can’t stop the run effectively at all, and they go up against the team with the fifth-most rushing attempts in the league.

For Philly, the additions of Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh shouldn’t be overlooked. The two veterans likely won’t be relied upon to pile up snap totals, but they can come in and make big plays on the defensive front for the Eagles.
