Q: I didn’t see the Josh Rosen move coming. How do you feel about that?

A: Well, he’ll live on the practice squad like a David Blough or Nate Stanley type. You’ll virtually never see him.

The Vikings need an emergency QB3 for the upcoming playoff push, and Rosen, a former 1st-Rounder, is a reasonable QB3. If he sticks around after the season, you may get a look at him in the summer and preseason next year.

Rosen joining the Vikings shouldn’t be considered a breaking-news deal. He’s in Minnesota in case of emergency. If Kirk Cousins gets hurt — that rarely, if ever, happens — Nick Mullens is the next man up. And if Mullens gets injured after that, then it’s Rosen time.

We have no qualms with the signing.

Q: What’s with all the Kirk Cousins slander after the huge comeback? What am I missing?

A: Welcome to the Kirk Cousins experience.

Sam Monson from Pro Football Focus said about Cousins’ efforts on Saturday, “People are complaining about Kirk Cousins’ [PFF grade] in this game. Cousins didn’t do that much in this game. Like he didn’t start driving this comeback with a bunch of big-time throws and amazing play and stuff.”

Cousins had 417 passing yards and 4 touchdowns in the 2nd Half against the Colts. He orchestrated the largest comeback in NFL history.

Anyone who discounts Cousins’ performance is a person you should no longer take seriously. Plain and simple.

Q: Is it correct that fans are supposed to wear all-white on Christmas Eve versus the Giants? Or is it just the players wearing their white uniforms?

A: Both.

Fans especially are encouraged to wear all-white for effect. It creates a cool effect in the stadium and is a first-of-its-kind thing in the NFL. Penn State University has done it in the past.

Vikings players will wear white everything, so the event is extended to fans. Find your fanciest white Vikings apparel, and head to U.S. Bank Stadium on this frigid Saturday.
