Q: Jalen Nailor claims he is the fastest player on the Vikings. Do you think he’s faster than Kene Nwangwu?

A: No. We believe Kene Nwangwu is faster.

The burden of proof lies with Nailor, as Nwangwu has already established his speed — during the 2021 draft lead-up process and his rookie season. Nwangwu ran a 4.29 40-yard dash at his 2021 Pro Day. Nailor ran a 4.5 at the NFL Combine.

You decide which number is smaller.

While Nailor’s 4.5-second time for the forty is probably an outlier or deceiving, that doesn’t mean he’s faster than Nwangwu. Let’s hope they’re both speed demons and do ghoulishly good things for the Vikings in four weeks.

Q: Are the Vikings the frontrunner to sign Ndamukong Suh?

A: Yes. According to oddsmakers, Ndamukong Suh is favored to land with the Vikings.

The Vikings and Suh are separated by a money debate right now, but if one side caves, Suh could start for the 2022 Vikings. It’s debatable whether the team needs him. Armon Watts played well in 2021 and probably deserves a shot at the starting job. However, Suh is a sure thing, excelling in the NFL for 12 years.

How would you feel about this Vikings front five?

  • EDGE: Danielle Hunter
  • DE: Harrison Phillips
  • NT: Dalvin Tomlinson
  • DT: Ndamukong Suh
  • EDGE: Za’Darius Smith

Q: Do you believe Bisi Johnson will make the 53-man roster?

Nov 29, 2020; Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA; Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bisi Johnson. Mandatory Credit: Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports.

A: No, we consider Johnson a roster casualty when the 53-man roster is announced.

Johnson isn’t bad. Instead, the Vikings WR room has grown tremendously since Johnson was last healthy. From K.J. Osborn, Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Jalen Nailor to Albert Wilson, Minnesota simply has more explosive options than Johnson.

There’s always a chance for the Vikings to keep seven WRs and nudge Johnson through the door, but we’re saying no with three weeks to go before the cuts are announced.
